Meet a Few of our Available Service Dogs in Training (SDiT)
Service Dog process and info
Each of these dogs have been carefully evaluated, selected and raised to become Service Dogs. Each are at their own stages in the training, but they are currently undergoing intensive socialization and training to reach their goals to become Service Dogs!
Each of these dogs, assuming their training continues successfully and they do not wash out, (meaning: become happy pets!) will be placed with a suitable handler in need of a service dog for whom they are specifically trained.
We are not a non-profit, as such these dogs will have a cost reflecting the extensive training and socialization put into them-that being said we are happy to work with -and in fact encourage working with- any non-profit that might be able to help cover the costs of the SDiT (or at the time, SD).
If you are interested in possibly getting matched with one of these SDiT or a future SDiT please send an email to [email protected]and we'll get in touch with information regarding how to move forward- including a required in-person (free) consultation/ discussion.
If there is a SDiT on this page that you are particularly interested in, please let us know, but remember that at the end of the day we will recommend the dog that as professionals we believe will work best for YOUR needs.
An important consideration in moving forward is knowing how much training and caring for a service dog will cost from beginning to end. Training a Service Dog is a costly process in regards to necessary time and financial commitment, but we are here to help you navigate it.
There are many approaches to receiving a Service Dog Candidate-- we can help you select a puppy, select and evaluate a puppy for you, provide you with an adolescent dog with basic obedience or provide you with an adult Service Dog candidate-- for more information please reach out!
All candidates will require additional training to be considered fully- realized/ prepared Service Animals!
